Montclair State University Center for Environmental Life Sciences

GREYHAWK provided construction management support services to the university’s in-house construction management team for a new four-story Spanish Mission style academic science building. The LEED Gold Certified facility contains teaching and research laboratories, classrooms, seminar rooms, and administrative space to support life and pharmaceutical science education.

GREYHAWK provided monthly project schedule review and analysis throughout construction; held direct meetings with contractors to validate protocols and conformance with project requirements; reviewed change orders and potential change orders; performed quantity takeoffs and validated contractor production rates, manpower, equipment, materials, and pricing with independent cost estimates; and compiled and presented information and supported the university in change-order negotiations.
