GREYHAWK provided professional construction management support services in the form of select project controls for Montclair State University. These services were provided for three different buildings: the Center for Environmental & Life Sciences, the School of Business, and Freeman Hall.

Montclair State University hired GREYHAWK as a construction management consultant to provide project schedule review and analysis on a monthly basis throughout the construction period. Deliverables included monthly schedule review report containing analysis and recommendations, and a direct interface follow-up meeting with the construction contractor to validate protocols with customary scheduling practices and conformance with project requirements.

GREYHAWK also provided review and analysis of change orders and potential change orders as required throughout the construction period. Depending upon the magnitude and complexity, GREYHAWK performs quantity takeoffs and validates the construction contractor’s production rates, manpower, equipment, and required materials, as well as pricing. GREYHAWK provided independent cost estimates, as required. We then compiled and presented necessary information to support the University in change order negotiations and assisted with those negotiations.
