MOUNT LAUREL, NJ- GREYHAWK, received two Project Achievement Awards from the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of Construction Management Association of America (CMAA). GREYHAWK was awarded the 2016 Project of the Year Award for Higher Education Project under $20 million for the new Rowan College at Gloucester County Nursing and Allied Health Center and the 2016 Project of the Year Award for K-12 School Project over $20 million for the Willingboro Board of Education Renovations Program.
GREYHAWK was engaged as Construction Manager of Record by Rowan College at Gloucester County to support the construction of new buildings and the renovation/expansion of existing buildings to enhance academic programming and administrative/support operations of the institution. Among the projects completed is the new Nursing and Allied Health Building, a 41,600 SF two-story building that includes 16 healthcare simulation classrooms and supporting laboratory spaces. Also included in the facility are 12 administrative offices, two team rooms and a 195-seat, 3,500 SF lecture hall equipped with state-of-the-art presentation and audio-visual equipment.
GREYHAWK was hired by the Willingboro Board of Education to manage their $67 million construction referendum. The program included renovations and capital improvements at eight schools throughout the District, including Stuart ES, Garfield ES, Twin Hills ES, Hawthorne Park ES, W.R. James ES, Memorial UES, Levitt Middle, and Willingboro High School. GREYHAWK provided oversight of the 19 general contractors and their 96 subcontractors.
