GREYHAWK provided construction management and commissioning services for the phased renovations of eight schools: Garfield, Hawthorne, Stuart, Twin Hills, and W.R. James Elementary Schools; Levitt and Memorial Middle Schools; and Willingboro High School. Renovations consisted of hazardous materials abatement and new electrical service and systems, emergency generators, mechanical systems, windows and exterior doors, interior doors and hardware, fire alarm control panels, security cameras, and bathrooms. The high school scope also included auditorium, locker room, and science lab renovations.
GREYHAWK provided preconstruction services including design and constructability reviews and value management to maintain the project budget. This involvement helped tailor the bid process and bid alternates to ensure projects were awarded without compromising the referendum scope basis. GREYHAWK also performed HVAC commissioning, encompassing review of HVAC equipment and systems, HVAC primary system commissioning (boilers, pumps, air handling units, rooftop units), HVAC terminal equipment commissioning 20% (unit ventilators, unit heaters, exhaust fans, fin-tube radiation, and split systems), building automation system (BAS) commissioning, operations and maintenance manual review, and training verification. GREYHAWK also managed the New Jersey Schools Development Authority grant disbursement request applications for each school.
