GREYHAWK provided comprehensive construction management services to the Westampton Township Public School District for its 2022 Bond Referendum construction project. Westhampton Township Public Schools serve over 900 students in Pre-K through eighth grade in Holly Hills Elementary School and Westampton Middle/Intermediate School. GREYHAWK performed during the pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases of work. Construction scope occurred at both schools with completion on time and $125,000 under budget in December 2023.
At Holly Hills Elementary School, GREYHAWK managed construction of a new pole barn, Pre-K playground with poured rubber surface, and a 5,000-sf addition including a media center and two classrooms. The scope included LED lights and ceilings in hallways and administrative areas, conversion of the existing media center into a cafeteria, creation of a secure vestibule, and replacement of the multipurpose room lighting, sound system, and divider curtain. Updated HVAC systems included replacement of unit ventilators, boiler, and pumps, and the addition of a variable refrigerant flow (VRF) system. A new Building Building Automation System (BAS), security cameras, public address (PA) system, clocks, phones, access controls, and lockdown systems were added. On the exterior, the existing parking lot was enlarged with full-depth replacement paving of the bus lane and installation of a new fire lane, replacement of parking lot lighting and exterior wall packs.
At Westampton Middle School, GREYHAWK managed construction of a 5,000-sf addition with four classrooms. The scope included LED lights and ceilings in hallways and administrative areas, renovation of the media center and existing boys’ and girls’ bathrooms, creation of a secure vestibule, renovation of classroom space, and creation of new Middle School and Intermediate School main offices, a new Intermediate School entrance canopy, new accessible walkway, and window replacement. Roof replacement included a built-up roofing system and roof recoating. Updated HVAC systems included replacement of remote terminal units (RTUs), unit ventilators, boilers, and pump, adding a variable refrigerant flow (VRF) system, and new gym air conditioning. New gym lighting and sound system, new security cameras, public address (PA) system, clocks, phones, access controls, and lockdown systems were added. On the exterior, the existing parking lot was enlarged with underground storm retention, fire lane reconfiguration, and parking lot lighting and exterior wall pack replacement.
