GREYHAWK provided staff augmentation, program support, construction management, and owner’s representative services to the West Chester University Campus Planning and Development Department. GREYHAWK also managed completion of over two dozen summer projects ranging from PA Key-93 deferred maintenance to residence hall renovations and classroom upgrades while providing program consultation for future initiatives.

Services included, but were not limited to, recommending standards and practices to increase departmental efficiencies; identifying alternative available procurement methods to streamline project completion; surveying existing spaces and systems and generating conditions assessments including written analysis, photos, and interactive charts to help the department determine short- and medium-term project priorities; and fostering and developing relationships with existing and new project partners. GREYHAWK’s advice and guidance led the university to develop a new campus master plan. As construction managers and owner’s representatives, GREYHAWK served as the single point of contact between the university, contractors, and designers from proposal solicitation through project completion.

GREYHAWK successfully executed the university’s full summer 2023 project docket including bathroom renovations, light fixture replacements, major repainting, and appliance replacements across eight residential buildings; classroom and office renovations in three academic buildings; and deferred maintenance roofing repairs and replacement, façade repairs, shower upgrades, tile replacement, and preparation for window, stucco, HVAC, and other roofing projects. Similarly, GREYHAWK completed summer 2024 projects including remodeling the campus Chick fil-A, installing a new storm basin, demolishing and replacing an existing office structure, and renovating apartments in three buildings. In addition, GREYHAWK served as lead for a new modular-construction, 120-bed housing village; renovations to the Office of the President; the final phase of a two-year rooftop unit replacement; and developing a roof management plan for all university buildings.
