Rowan College of South Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine (Rowan SOM)

GREYHAWK provided construction management and HVAC commissioning services for a new two-story medical center. The facility combines a 27,000-sf medical and research education space with a 28,000-sf clinical center, offering problem-based-learning medical education with hands-on clinical experience in pediatrics, pain management, family medicine, and other disciplines. The project resulted from a partnership between Rowan College of South Jersey, Rowan University, and the Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine to enhance the Eds and Meds corridor in South Jersey.

During pre-construction, GREYHAWK focused on developing the budget and design schedule, ensuring quality construction documents, logistics planning, design review for constructability, guidance through the bid and award process, and professional objective advice and representation. During construction, GREYHAWK provided active field oversight, conducted project meetings, maintained the budget, reviewed and approved payment applications, dealt with sensitive issues, and worked with the design and construction team to address cost and schedule issues. GREYHAWK also reviewed HVAC equipment and systems and performed primary HVAC system commissioning including building automation system (BAS) commissioning, operations and maintenance manual review, training verification, and procurement and management of testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) services.
