GREYHAWK provided design-build construction management services to the New Jersey Schools Development Authority (NJSDA) for a new elementary school that accommodates 800 students in grades PreK-5. School design was based on the NJSDA Kit of Parts for K-5 elementary schools with associated play area, accessible parking, and community spaces. The project included construction of a parking lot adjacent to the site.
GREYHAWK provided design, submittal, shop drawing, and schedule reviews for compliance with state design-build performance specifications and standards and performed construction and post-construction services. Construction phase services included daily monitoring of all construction activities, tracking the design-builder’s daily manpower; analyzing the design-builder’s baseline schedule and monthly updates; and reviewing the design-builder’s monthly payment applications. GREYHAWK documented all construction activities and reported on a biweekly basis to the project team.
