    GREYHAWK provided construction management services to the Penn-Delco School District in support of the renovations and additions to Northley Middle School as well as new construction of a new Coebourn Elementary School.

    The first phase of the project consisted of a major renovation and addition to the Northley Middle School located in Aston Township. The overall project consisted of existing 137,000 square-foot building renovations, including both a natatorium and kitchen areas, as well as MEP renovation, consisting of a hybrid geothermal HVAC system. The initial summer concluded with the complete renovation of an approximate 3,500 square-foot library, computer lab and television studio. Also concluded was approximately 15,000 square-foot addition for classrooms, circulation and administrative spaces. This project remained occupied and was completed during the school year while retaining all school programs.

    The second phase consisted of construction of a 66,490 square-foot Elementary School, located in the Brookhaven Borough. This project was a replacement of an existing school which occupied the footprint of the new school. The existing school was demolished and new school built while students Students were relocated to a nearby school during construction on the existing building site. As a new state-of-the-art school, the building was equipped with various labs and support space including cafeteria, new Gym [to serve the community as well], and library and administrative space. This project HVAC utilized a hybrid geothermal HVAC system.

    GREYHAWK was hired by the Penn Delco Board of Education to provide full construction management services through design, bid and award, and construction phases of these two buildings. Both projects were multi-prime projects.
