GREYHAWK provided full-time construction management services through design, bid and award, and construction phases for a comprehensive school improvement program. The Holmdel 2020 Initiative encompassed all four district schools: Village Elementary School, Indian Hill Elementary School, William R. Satz Middle School, and Holmdel High School with the goal of creating more appropriately flexible, student-centered, technology rich facilities. Projects included three additions at the Middle School and High School complex, interior renovations and capital improvements at all four schools, and significant reconstruction at Holmdel High School.
Divided into multiple bid packages, construction work included interior renovations and additions, wood floor replacement, door replacement, corridor locker replacement, auditorium upgrades, locker room renovations, kindergarten classroom renovations, gym HVAC replacement, PA system upgrades, security cameras, turf replacement, field reconstruction, stadium lighting replacement, and paving. GREYHAWK also provided retro-commissioning services at all four schools to ensure optimal indoor air quality for occupancy during the COVID-19 pandemic. GREYHAWK assessed the condition all primary and terminal HVAC equipment including remote terminal units (RTUs), air-handling units (AHUs), unit ventilators, fan coil units, energy recovery units, zone registers, pumps, boilers, exhaust fans, chiller, and the building automation system (BAS) in each building.
