Hickory Run State Park Visitors Center

GREYHAWK performed design and construction phase commissioning for a new state park visitor center. The center provides modern comfort facilities, educational amenities, and park administrative offices, with LEED Silver criteria incorporated into design and construction. GREYHAWK’s design phase commissioning services include preparing initial design intent documentation and a design phase commissioning plan; reviewing required submissions for HVAC and MEP systems; preparing technical specifications for bidding contractors; reviewing construction documentation and contract specifications; and performing MEP design review. Construction phase services included commissioning of the HVAC system including heat generation, refrigeration, ventilation, HVAC control systems, and building management systems as well as electrical power distribution, lighting and controls, and emergency generator systems.
