GREYHAWK provided full-time construction management services through design, bid and award, and construction phases, and HVAC commissioning services for a long-range facility upgrade project at the vocational-technical school, the Gloucester County Institute of Technology.
During Phase I, GREYHAWK managed interior renovations including new PA/clock systems, a Music/Theater Department addition, theater renovations, aquatic center locker room and pool mechanical system upgrades, restroom renovations, mechanical system upgrades, and a new building management system (BMS). During Phase II, GREYHAWK managed mechanical equipment replacement, renovations, and upgrades in shop classrooms (e.g., carpentry, welding, cosmetology), partial roof replacement, parking lot upgrades and resurfacing, and construction of a new outdoor classroom/amphitheater. The Phase II scope also included adding bipolar ionization to the HVAC systems, new HVAC system controls, upgrades to lighting and acoustics in the TV studio, new shop classroom lockers, new theater doors, and new window treatments throughout the school. GREYHAWK reviewed HVAC equipment and systems and provided primary HVAC system commissioning including building automation system (BAS), operations and maintenance manual review, training verification, and procuring and managing testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) services.
