GREYHAWK provided construction management during preconstruction, construction, and post-construction phases of work to transform a vacant, two-story structure (c.1890) into a new office building. The adaptive reuse project included construction of a 300-car parking garage on an adjacent lot.
GREYHAWK’s preconstruction scope involved budget development, cost estimating, logistics planning, design review for constructability, and guidance through the bid and award process. During construction, GREYHAWK provided field oversight, attended project meetings, maintained the project budget, and worked with the design and construction team to address key cost and schedule issues. The project involved hazardous materials abatement, structural stabilization, heavy timber structural repairs and replacement, slate roof replacement, masonry façade repairs, new window installation, dehumidification/ventilation of the building, and approval coordination with the New Jersey Historic Preservation Office.
