GREYHAWK served as construction manager owner representative in the administration and construction management of a new Career and Advanced Technology Center that will offer academic and technology programs in support of regional workforce development. GREYHAWK performed from pre-construction and procurement through construction. The scope included managing remediation and demolition of an existing building, incorporating special mechanical systems for auto diesel and welding areas, coordinating with SEPTA due to the proximity of the Market-Frankford Elevated Train line, and working within the confines of a restricted urban site. Designed to achieve LEED Silver (certification pending), the project included a green roof and commissioning.
