GREYHAWK provided program management for design through construction of a new LEED Silver Certified academic building that accommodates an expanded allied health program. The Life Sciences Center includes 65,000 sf of health career education areas and 50,000 sf of traditional classrooms, lecture halls, and support spaces. GREYHAWK provided oversight during design and project management support during construction.
Amenities of the Life Sciences Center include:
- Dental clinic, radiography operatories, and dental laboratory with darkroom to support dental hygiene and dental assisting programs
- Health Information Technology (HIT) area with records room
- Two nursing skills laboratories to support the Practical Nursing program
- Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) area with general science lab
- Ophthalmic Science lab with contact lens fitting rooms
- Surgical Technology area with surgical suite
- Veterinary Science lab with specialized animal rooms
- Public café that functions as Food / Nutrition Science learning experience
