GREYHAWK Names Catherine H. Emma, PHR, SHRM-CP, Director of Human Resources

[Mount Laurel, NJ] GREYHAWK, an award-winning construction management and consulting firm, has named industry veteran Catherine H. Emma, PHR, SHRM-CP, as Director of Human Resources. Emma has over 35 years of human resources experience and administrative leadership in the construction consulting industry. She joined GREYHAWK July 5.

“Cathy brings vast knowledge in her field, empathy for her colleagues, and commitment to compliance to her role as Director of Human Resources,” said GREYHAWK President Ronald C. Kerins, Jr., CCM, LEED AP. “She genuinely cares about her fellow staff members and will help us seek new ways to engage and support career advancement.”

Emma leads all of GREYHAWK’s human resources, employee recruiting and retention, benefits, and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) coordination. She sets policies, ensures employment law compliance, and supports communication among all employees.

“I look forward to leading GREYHAWK’s human resources by aligning the company mission with employee needs, and to supporting business goals and personal career objectives,” said Emma.

As a former global head of human resources, Emma oversaw 5,000 employees worldwide and developed extensive experience in the application of multi-state employment laws, mergers and acquisitions, and identifying and advancing talent. She holds the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) credential from the Human Resource Standards Institute and is a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). She is a member of SHRM and serves on the Senior Executive Forum of the Tri-State Human Resources Association. Emma lives in Mount Laurel, N.J.
