Over a 40-year construction career, Michael Miller has held nearly every role on the contractor’s and owner’s sides of the business. From supervisor to superintendent and from estimator to project manager, he has built a proven track record of successfully completing multi-million-dollar projects. Michael serves as a Construction Manager in GREYHAWK’s Construction Project Management Practice.
A results-oriented, hands-on construction professional, Michael credits his effective coordination and rapport-building with his ability to sit back and listen. His career has included roles for large contractors and developers, including eight years spent overseeing the World Trade Center reconstruction in New York. Michael’s skills include budget analysis, contract negotiations, critical path project management, quality control management, permitting and building code compliance, vendor and material management, and safety and compliance management. He effectively works with architects, engineers, local officials, vendors, and clients, all while maintaining cost and schedule efficiency.
Michael studied civil technology at the University of Houston and computer science at Hofstra University. He’s been a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) Local Union 15D for over 20 years and holds the organization’s highest surveyor rank. Outside of work, he enjoys golf and fishing.
