GREYHAWK provided commissioning services for the new three-story, 87,000-square-foot Graham Athletics & Wellness Center at William Penn Charter School. Penn Charter is the fifth oldest school in the U.S. and the oldest Quaker school in the world; it serves coed students in pre-K through grade 12.
The Graham unites athletics facilities on both sides of School House Lane. A balcony and bridge enable access between the football stadium and the Graham. EwingCole designed the new facility.
GREYHAWK performed basic commissioning of the HVAC and automatic temperature control (ATC) systems including remote terminal units (RTUs), dedicated outside air supply (DOAS) units, ductless split system (DSS), air handling units (AHUs), heat pumps (HPs), cabinet unit heater (CHU), exhaust unit heater (EUH), electric radiant ceiling panels (ERCPs), exhaust fans, supply fans, transfer fans, and electric baseboard heat, along with testing, adjusting, and balancing.
