GREYHAWK provided construction phase commissioning services for a 46,000-square-foot health sciences addition to the Cumberland County Technical Education Center (CCTEC). CCTEC is a comprehensive high school that prepares students with knowledge and hands-on, career-based learning.

Designed by USA Architects, the new wing contains classrooms, administrative offices, labs, an auditorium, a training room, restrooms, and common spaces. Systems commissioned included boilers, pumps, remote terminal units (RTUs), variable air volume (VAV) components, fin tube radiators (FTRs), a ductless split system, and domestic hot water. Commissioning services were performed in accordance with ANSI/AHRAE/IES Process Standard 202-2013 and BCx Best Practices.

GREYHAWK led a kickoff/coordination meeting with the project team, reviewed submittals, inspected work for compliance and deficiencies, reviewed and confirmed checklists with contractors, coordinated start-up and pre-functional testing, reviewed records, witnessed equipment installation and functional testing, performed and documented field observations, provided written progress reports and recommendations, and provided a final commissioning report.
