GREYHAWK was initially engaged to provide troubled project turnaround and consulting services for a new six-story, 312-room luxury ski resort, which included an assessment of current status and preparation of a critical path method (CPM) completion schedule.
The initial scope included contemporaneous development of a delay analysis to identify and quantify delays and to justify time and damages related to the structural concrete and structural steel. GREYHAWK performed this scope during construction while simultaneously expanding the existing schedule into a more detailed CPM schedule to enhance the ability to plan and monitor construction. Near the end of the project, GREYHAWK provided a time impact analysis (TIA) covering the entire project. The analysis selected significant project events and milestones and investigated the amount, cause, and responsibility for the delay impact of each. GREYHAWK’s TIA was used to structure a settlement with the owner and to successfully settle a claim against the architect for its contribution to project delays.
