GREYHAWK was engaged by Montgomery County, Maryland, to analyze delay and direct cost damages resulting from failures by numerous project participants. GREYHAWK performed schedule delay and cost damages analysis related to design and construction of a new multi-modal transit center. The project experienced numerous delays and did not achieve substantial completion until five years after the originally contracted completion date.
GREYHAWK analyzed critical delays, allocated responsibility, and determined damages resulting from the delays; design, construction and inspection deficiencies; and remedial actions to correct deficiencies. GREYHAWK coordinated its analysis with that of other experts engaged on behalf of the county. GREYHAWK reviewed county cost records, created a detailed daily as-built schedule, established the as-built critical path to project completion, and quantified critical delays. GREYHAWK issued affirmative, rebuttal, and responsive reports relative to both delay and damages; provided litigation support; and provided testimony in deposition and trial, leading to a successful settlement prior to completion of the jury trial.
