GREYHAWK provided comprehensive construction claims consulting related to a design errors and omissions claim brought about by the owner. GREYHAWK performed a detailed evaluation of 360 professional error and omission change orders, totaling over $11 million, for construction of a new 12,500-seat arena and its associated recreation facility. On behalf of the architect and its attorneys, GREYHAWK analyzed performance to determine the merits of the design deficiency claims and the causes of construction delays.
GREYHAWK developed a project timeline used to understand the planned and actual performance and to facilitate investigation of issues that caused scope changes. The investigation aided in determining time, labor, and cumulative impact to the architect’s work due to owner design changes. GREYHAWK provided an expert report and testimony at trial presenting the delay analysis, issue investigation, damages assessment, and design deficiency investigations. The GREYHAWK expert analysis was successful in substantially refuting the delay and errors and omissions allegations against the design professional.
