GREYHAWK performed mechanical commissioning for a new academic building that consolidates the college’s undergraduate and graduate programs. Commissioning services included on-site visits throughout mechanical construction; witnessing equipment start-ups; testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB); and control programming of the building automation system (BAS). The mechanical commissioning process and functional testing resulted in improved indoor air quality, increased system performance efficiency, and optimized energy usage. GREYHAWK also provided verifiable systems documentation delivery and an increased level of orientation and training to give operations and maintenance staff a heightened sense of system operation.
