    This project consisted of the construction of a new three-story, 109,500 square-foot elementary school situated in an urban setting. This new facility houses approximately 705 students from Pre-K through eighth grades as well as an early childhood center.

    Functional components consist of 22 classrooms, as well as core space containing the administrative office suite, nurse’s office suite, media center, specialized instruction classrooms, labs and other support services and large group components such as a cafeteria, gymnasium, technology labs, and art and music rooms. Site development consisted of fields, courts, play areas, traffic maneuvering and limited parking.

    GREYHAWK was hired by the NJ Schools Development Authority for the new Paterson replacement Elementary School #16 to provide design-build construction management services including, design, submittal and shop drawing reviews, schedule reviews for compliance with the new State design-build performance specifications, design and materials standards, bridging documents, and construction and post-construction services.
