    $43 million

A new, 109,000-square-foot Pre-K to 5 replacement school was constructed to accommodate 784 students on the existing school site in Long Branch City. All educational spaces were constructed as per the approved Department of Education district model. The school includes 10 Pre-K classrooms, seven kindergarten classrooms, 28 classrooms; art, choral and instrumental music rooms; computer and science exploration labs; an OT/PT room; six small-group instruction rooms; a cafetorium with interior and exterior stage; an elementary school-sized gymnasium; a media center with world language lab; and an administrative center including nurse’s suite. In addition to the new building, the site was reconfigured for a new parking, drop-off lane and playing fields. Additional work items included a new Pre-K-protected playground.

GREYHAWK was retained by the NJ Schools Development Authority to provide full pre-construction, bid and award, construction and post-construction services in the management of this work. GREYHAWK also provided cost estimating, design and constructability reviews.
