Project Details

  • Gloucester County Improvement Authority
    Woodbury, NJ
    $55.4 million

This four-story 127,700-square-foot addition to the County’s existing Criminal Justice Complex houses multiple functions, each having specific comfort and security needs. These areas include the sheriff’s offices, holding cells, court offices, jury assembly areas, nine courtrooms, judge’s chambers and jury deliberation rooms. The project also included renovation to existing court offices, two courtrooms and judge’s chambers.

GREYHAWK’s commissioning professionals worked closely with the entire project team to ensure that all systems were installed, started up and functioning properly. Our commissioning services were an integral component of the project’s success and resulted in a successful occupancy and satisfied building users who enjoy a comfortable environment and energy-efficient systems. The following systems and components were commissioned:

    • HVAC primary system
    • HVAC terminal equipment
    • Life Safty Systems
    • Domestic hot water system
    • Emergency diesel generator
    • Lighting controls
    • Communications
    • Access Security
    • CCTV
    • Data

Scope of services included quarterly post-occupancy reviews with the facility staff as part of a “continuous commissioning” exercise. GREYHAWK also assisted facility staff in the development of a preventive maintenance plan that summarized data from the contractors’ O&M manuals and serves as a reference tool for the owner.
